It has been 41 days since Cocomania ended ... sigh ... oh how I miss everyone I worked with. I just have to say thank you to everyone involved. This was one of the best nights of my life. Also a special thank you to Jean Brager, with out you this would not have been possible. I hope you know you have given such hope and inspiration to every person involved in Cocomania. Jamie Easton and the team at Aveda Paris Parker, you guys are incredible at what you do. Every year our angels show up and really brings the show to the next level. Quinn Connors, I have no words ... With out you I am not sure I would have been able to pull off the extremely long nights of sewing and sequencing and lord know what else we had to do to pull this off. You are wonderfabazaming!! I miss you my dear! Natalie, Sarah, Chris, Quinn it was an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with you guys as designers in this show. You each are terribly great at what you do. I can't wait to see what each of us has in store for the future! Old Crow Medicine Show, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Mumford and Sons touring six cities in vintage rail cars. Can't get any better? You would think not, but for me, it can. They ended their tour in my back yard -- New Orleans, LA. The music was great. Think of it as a long jam session, not three individual concerts. I don't think there was one moment where it was just Old Crow Medicine Show on stage or just Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros or just Mumford & Sons. They were all there, present, on stage and rocking it. At one point Jake Gyllenhaal was playing music on stage - insane.

Live Music. Beautiful Beaches. Exhilarating Boat Rides. Amazing Company. I had such a wonderful time this past weekend at Ono Island. I got to listen to great music at the Hang Out Festival: My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys, Old Crow Medicine Show, MedeskiMartin&Wood, PAUL SIMON (my favorite this festival), and the list goes on. In between my music adventures on the beach I got to island hop from Ono Island, where the beach house sits, to another unnamed island (I like to call it Freaking Amazing ... yeah?). It was so nice to be able to lay out, swim and play with the dogs, and have good conversations with great people.
