RailroadRevivalTour -- Tooot!! Tooooot!!!

Old Crow Medicine Show, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Mumford and Sons touring six cities in vintage rail cars. Can't get any better? You would think not, but for me, it can. They ended their tour in my back yard -- New Orleans, LA. The music was great. Think of it as a long jam session, not three individual concerts. I don't think there was one moment where it was just Old Crow Medicine Show on stage or just Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros or just Mumford & Sons. They were all there, present, on stage and rocking it. At one point Jake Gyllenhaal was playing music on stage - insane.

Hang Out

Live Music. Beautiful Beaches. Exhilarating Boat Rides. Amazing Company.

I had such a wonderful time this past weekend at Ono Island. I got to listen to great music at the Hang Out Festival: My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys, Old Crow Medicine Show, MedeskiMartin&Wood, PAUL SIMON (my favorite this festival), and the list goes on. In between my music adventures on the beach I got to island hop from Ono Island, where the beach house sits, to another unnamed island (I like to call it Freaking Amazing ... yeah?). It was so nice to be able to lay out, swim and play with the dogs, and have good conversations with great people.

Another part of the trip I really enjoyed was the lack of thinking you had to put into an outfit. Swim suit + cover up, that's it. And how can you go wrong with that? Add a floppy hat to jazz it up :) Im obsessed with it!
